The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
