Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
