Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
