The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in towering columns. 9
