He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
