Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
