The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 So Allah seized him (and made him) an example for the after (life) and for the former. 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
