Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the present life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
