Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 Entering into burning fire, 4 Made to drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a poisonous thorny plant, 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 with their striving well-pleased, 9 in a sublime Garden, 10 hearing there no babble; 11 There is a stream of running water in it; 12 In which are high thrones. 13 and prepared goblets, 14 and cushions ranged, 15 and outspread carpets. 16 DO, THEN, they [who deny resurrection] never gaze at the clouds pregnant with water, [and observe] how they are created? 17 And the heaven – how it has been raised? 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 Then verily, for Us will be their reckoning. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
