The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
