Indeed the place of success is for the pious. 31 and gardens and vineyards, 32 and splendid companions well matched, 33 And an overflowing cup. 34 There they shall not hear any idle talk, or any untruth: 35 A recompense from your Lord, a sufficient gift, 36 [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech. 37 The day when Jibreel and all the angels will stand in rows; none will be able to speak except one whom the Most Gracious commands and who spoke rightly. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.) 38 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. 39 Lo! We warn you of a chastisement near at hand; the Day when a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust.” 40
