The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
