3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
