Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
