The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
