The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
