And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
