The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
