Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
