The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
