Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
