Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
