O you who have attained to faith! Be conscious of God with all the consciousness that is due to Him, and do not allow death to overtake you ere you have surrendered yourselves unto Him. 102 And hold you fast to God's bond, together, and do not scatter; remember God's blessing upon you when you were enemies, and He brought your hearts together, so that by His blessing you became brothers. You were upon the brink of a pit of Fire, and He delivered you from it; even so God makes clear to you His signs; so haply you will be guided. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment. 105 On the Day when some faces would be bright, and some others will be black (with despair), those with black faces (will be told): "Having come to the faith you denied it; now taste therefore the penalty for you disbelieved." 106 And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide. 107 These are the mes sages of Allah which We recite to you in truth, and Allah desires no wrong to the people of the world. 108 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to Allah are all matters referred for decision. 109
