The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
