Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
