It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
