The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
