When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 besides, they accuse me of a crime, and I fear that they may put me to death." 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: "Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel." 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 Moses said, "Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if only you would be convinced." 24 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 Said he, 'Bring it then, if thou art of the truthful.' 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
