Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
