The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
