And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
