Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The revelation of this Book is from God, the mighty and all-wise. 2 Behold, in the heavens as well as on earth there are indeed messages for all who [are willing to] believe. 3 In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith, 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 Who heareth the revelations of Allah rehearsed unto him, and yet persisteth with stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not. Announce thou unto him, then, a torment afflictive. 8 And when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them in mockery; those for them awaits a humbling chastisement. 9 Gehenna (Hell) is behind them, all that they have earned shall not help them at all, nor shall those they took as guardians, other than Allah. For them there is a mighty punishment. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
