The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
