And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
