(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him, 'Shall I follow thee so that thou teachest me, of what thou hast been taught, right judgment.' 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
