Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
