And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] 74 They will not be able to help them and will be brought (to Us) as their levied troops. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" 78 Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." 79 “The One Who has created for you fire from the green tree, so you kindle from it.” 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 Whenever He wills a thing, He just commands it “Be” and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
