BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
