Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
