The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He has created man: 3 and has taught him intelligible speech. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning. 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 Always measure with justice and do not give short measure. 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
