Al-Jinn 2 of 2
(Muhammad), say, "I worship only my Lord and do not consider anyone equal to Him". 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path." 21 Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside Him 22 (Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. 25 He is the Knower of the unseen, and He discloseth not His unseen unto anyone. 26 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
