The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
