The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they transport your loads to a town where you could not reach except utterly exhausted; indeed your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 It rests with Allah alone to show you the Right Way, even when there are many crooked ways. Had He so willed, He would have (perforce) guided you all aright. 9
