Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, 73 And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help. 74 Instead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols. 75 Let not their words grieve you. Surely We know all things about them, what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is the One who has created the heavens and the earth not able to create another creature like the human being? He certainly has the power to do so. He is the Supreme Creator and is All-knowing. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
