And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
