۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
