Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
