The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
