The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
