O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 They shall be cursed from all around and they shall be ruthlessly killed wherever they are seized. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 People ask you about the Hour (of the great change). Say: "Only God has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may be close at hand." 63 Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the day when their faces will be turned from side to side on the fire, they will say, "Would that we had obeyed God and the Messenger!" 66 They shall say, 'Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy grace!" 68
